Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopters @Lifesaverhelo· report: Our southern NSW rescue helicopter #Lifesaver23 has just completed an urgent winch rescue of a father and son off rocks at #TurossHead on the South Coast. No injuries to report - both handed over to one relieved mum! Tuross Marine Rescue report:

Earlier this afternoon and man and his son were swept into the water off rocks in Tuross Head.

Surf Lifesaving instigated the Westpac Rescue Helicopter which retrieved the pair from the seas.Tuross Marine Rescue was activated and had PWC (Jet Ski) sitting in the surf should assistance be needed.

Well done to all services and units involved. Two people saved.
