Annual spraying to remove broadleaf weeds at Council reserves and sports fields is underway.
Targeting weeds like bindii and clover, spraying will be done in the mornings, with signs advising people to stay off the grass and listing the date and time of spraying and the herbicide used. Grounds can be used again once the signs have been removed.
The work is expected to run through to mid-September, weather permitting.
