Friday the 22nd of June 2023 saw the launch of the 'Want to help the children? Help the Parents: Challenges and Solutions from the Babies and Young Children in the Black Summer (BiBS) Study at the Eurobodalla Botanical Gardens.

Attending the launch was the Federal Member for Gilmore, Fiona Phillips who said "This is a fantastic report & recommendations on how we can better prepare to support parents and young children in times of natural disaster crisis and recovery, including at Evacuation Centres. Importantly, it is about learning from the Black Summer Bushfires and doing things better in future".
