Virtual Town Hall meeting on health in Gilmore

Federal Member for Gilmore, Fiona Phillips, is inviting interested residents in Gilmore to join her in a Virtual Town Hall meeting on health in Gilmore, this Thursday, 11 November 6pm-7pm.

Guest speakers include Mark Butler MP, Federal Shadow Minister for Health, and Ryan Park MP, State Shadow Minister for Health.

“Health issues are consistently raised with me as a critical issue in our communities”, Mrs Phillips said.

“Access to GPs and specialists, cuts to Medicare rebate items, ensuring our hospitals have the services required, including mental health inpatient beds, and more support for young people, are just some of the issues raised with me regularly”, Mrs Phillips continued.

“Our GPs, health and hospital workers are carrying a huge workload during COVID-19. It’s imperative we support them”, Mrs Philips said.
