Veggies for All – Moruya – 10 August

Sat, 10 August 2019 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm - $15 Red Door Hall, St John’s Parish, Page Street, Moruya

With the support of the IMB Bank Community Foundation, SAGE’s “Veggies for All” returns in 2019. Through our highly successful program, SAGE has reached hundreds of Eurobodalla residents, especially low-income earners, to help them start to grow some of their own food in their own garden.

After attending a workshop, Centrelink benefit recipients are also eligible to have a raised vegetable bed fully installed and ready to grow in their own yard, completely free. Conditions apply. More details available at the workshop.

Learn about how to grow veggies and herbs in above ground veggie beds. Topics include soil, mulch, watering, crop rotation, succession planting and more.

Includes refreshments, handouts and seedlings to take with you on the day.
