Vale: Richard Roberts

With great sadness. A long-standing member of the community, Richard Roberts, passed away last week. Richard has been a huge contributor to the local community and the Eurobodalla shire at large over many years. We would like to pass our condolences to Barbara (our BMPCA secretary) and the Roberts Family. The following message is from the Roberts Family --------- RICHARD ROBERTS FUNERAL NOTICE Barbara, Fiona, Tom & Martin have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from friends and family at this very difficult time. Due to Covid-19 regulations and restrictions on numbers Richard’s funeral service will be live-streamed at 11am Australian EST on Tuesday 21st April, 2020. Please log onto the stream from 10.45am onwards, in preparation for the service commencing. The family has created a dedicated website www.rcrbroulee.com to facilitate the “virtual” nature of this funeral, allowing friends and family the opportunity to be part of the service from afar. The website and service are best viewed from a computer. The order of service will be available to download on Tuesday morning. www.rcrbroulee.com Please click on the link above to make sure it works and familiarise yourself with the site. The content on the site contains further instructions and will continue to be updated over the next few days. Please note the link for the live service will only work on Tuesday from 10.45am. For those unable to join the live stream, the service is being recorded and will be available on the site after the service. In the absence of a wake, the family has organised ‘A life in photos’ gallery and a private condolences board for friends and family to share any memories. For any friends nearby to Broulee, we wanted to let you know following the service, the hearse will drive down Train St then along Coronation Drive. Once life moves on from Covid-19 the family will organise a memorial to celebrate Richard’s life. Please share this message with anyone who was a friend of Richard’s. Much love, The Roberts family
