Vale: Geoffrey Giuffre

Four Winds is very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of a dear and dedicated volunteer, Geoffrey Giuffre. Geoffrey was a much-loved addition to our team. He was always willing to put his shoulder to the wheel and contribute wherever he was needed. He was a constant cheery face at events, helping in the bar, setting up and packing down, ushering and welcoming our guests. He had a knack of making everyone feel at ease, important and valued.

Geoffrey was particularly dedicated to the young musicians that visited Four Winds from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). He would drive them around and support them as they presented at community events, libraries, preschools and local house concerts. He worked with The Auric Quartet, The Arcadia Wind Quintet and the Aurelia Quartet. He maintained an active interest in their career progression and would often send them encouraging words. All at Four Winds will miss you, Geoffrey. Thank you for all you gave so freely.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
