Two men die in collision – Bodalla

Two men have died after a two-vehicle collision in the state’s Southern Region today.

Shortly before 4pm (Tuesday 28 January 2020), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, near Bumbo Road, Bodalla, after reports a car and a truck collided.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District, State Emergency Service and Rural Fire Service attended.

Police were told that an Isuzu Pantech Truck, driven by a 46-year-old man, and a Toyota Hilux, driven by a 28-year-old man, collided head-on.

Both drivers died at the scene.

The highway was blocked in both directions for approximately 4.5 hours.

Officers from South Coast Police District will conduct a full investigation and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
