Tuross men's golf president wins stableford competition

The welcome news for the week is that the club has reopened on Monday June 1st.  Most of the club facilities will be operating under the COVID-19 health protocols terms and conditions.

All social and sporting body members are asked to support the club and utilise their facilities as much as they can.

Tuross Head Country Club men’s golfers believe that they should always stay on the right side of their club president and they did this on Saturday when they teamed together and helped him win the day’s stableford competition.

Andrew Gordon, club president, however not only won, but he finished with a remarkable stableford score of 45 points. Paul Scholze was second with 39 points and Ian McManus 37, Ian Kingston 36  and Jim Wade 35 with points filled the remaining award positions.

Balls were awarded down to 32 points.
