Tuross Head Vets Golf Results 28 June 2023

Despite a very cold morning 54 players entered a 2 Person Irish Team Stableford event at Tuross Head Veterans Golf on Wednesday 28 June. Winning couple on the day were Cathy and Terry Milliken with a score of 25 points for the 9 holes played. They beat home, in order, Bruce Martin and Ray Downey, Blaise and Dorothy Madden, and Maree and Paul Coffey, the latter groups all scoring 23 points. Minor prizes went to Steve Collins and Frank Pomfret, Shirley and Ted Quinlan, Steve Swanbury and Peter McRae, Jane Eglitis and Robert McKirdy, David Williams and Allen Lee, Ross Hendy and Paul Pereira, and finally Terry Lunn and Barry Hoban, all teams scoring 21.


Paul Green and Ron Hanlon took out the infamous “Bradman” award whilst nearest the pins were won by Ken Sovran on the 4th, Peter McRae on the 6th, and by Dorothy Madden and Bruce Martin on the 7th. Paul Coffey won the Accurate drive competition.
