Tuross Head Ladies Golf

Round one of the Foursomes Championships was played under perfect golfing conditions with 26 ladies participating.


Winners on the day by a country mile were Jennifer Gray and Dorothy Madden with a net score of 71 points.


The Runners-up were Judith McCarthy and Beverley Theobald with 79 points.


Third place went to Wendy Schmid and Leonie Doolan on 79.50 points.

Above: Dorothy Madden and Jennifer Gray Tuross Head Ladies Golf Special Honour One of Tuross Head ladies treasures, was today awarded a special commendation from the Veteran Women's Golf Association of NSW. Marie Mapleson, Representing Veterans' Women's Golf Association of NSW, presented Ann Challender with an 80 year hat clip to celebrate her eightieth birthday earlier this year. Congratulations Ann.
