Tuross Head golfers take ultra care during presentations

Tuross Head Country Club men golfers held their regular stableford competition last Saturday and Malcolm Gilbertson and Wayne Fullerton were strong competitors for the winners circle.

Both players finished with 42 stableford points with Malcolm Gilbertson winning on a countback.

Jim Wade, with 40 points filled third placing, beating Darrell Kildey on a countback.

Brenden Taylor’s 38 points saw him win the remaining award.

Thursday’s stableford medley competition was won by Lynne McDonell with a fine round of 39 points.

Tim Watson and Stephen Swanbury both scored 39 points as well but were forced into the minor award positions on a countback.

Robert McDonell and Roger Chappell, both scored 37 points to feature in the top group.
