The Flathead and Bream Tournament is a catch and release event using only plastic or hard body lures or fly fishing. It is great to know that all fish were released back into the river system.

Flathead and Bream Tournament prides itself on conducting a sustainable fishing event leaving no impact to our fish stocks. The large number of fish caught proves what a healthy river system the Tuross River is at present.

Many good size fish were recorded with a Flathead of 96cm being caught. The largest Flathead ever caught in the Tournaments history. Bream were a little harder to catch but some good size Bream were recorded.
