Another wet weekend and flooding rivers proved little for a few of our devoted club members, 8 club members braved the elements and managed to measure in th13 fish.

Congratulations to John Suthern for managing to catch the Goblet winning Flathead . To find a Flathead in the flood affected river showed John's fishing skills.

Coila Beach and Coila Lake both provided plenty of fish with 2 exceptional fish measured in.

Flathead Goblet was won by John Suthern with his Flathead 46cm. worth 52.7pts.

Mens Rock and Beach was won by Mathew Roberts who caught a Salmon 72 cm. worth 135 pts. and created a new Club record for the largest Salmon. Well done Robbo!!

Womens Rock and Beach winner was Rachel Weatherby with a 34.4 cm. Bream worth 92.7 pts.

Mens Lake and Estuary winner was John Suthern with his Flathead 46 cm. worth 52.7 pts.

Womens Lake and Estuary was won by Rachael Kennedy with a huge Black Bream 46.7 cm. with 174 74 pts. Good fish Rachael.

No Outside winners this month as conditions were a bit wild. No Junior winner also.

Mystery Fish no. 24 Trevally was not won.

Turkey of the Month” Award went to Bruce Kennedy who posted a message to members whilst fishing . " I abandoned fishing due to safety reasons. When a full beer was blown over, it's time to head home. Blowing a gale."

A big thankyou to all members who attended the Xmas BBQ at the club, we all had a great afternoon and a big thankyou to Pam and members for providing such wonderful food.

January Goblet weekend will be on Friday 4 pm Jan. 14th.- Sunday 4pm on the16th. Whiting will be the Goblet target fish . I promise to provide plenty of sunshine and no rain (Hopefully).

Wishing all Tuross Head Fishing Club Members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
