Tuross Head Country Club golf course reopens

The Tuross Head golf course was reopened last week after a long three month closure due to heavy rainfall over this period.

The first of two competition rounds were successfully completed on Thursday and Saturday and the ladies, veterans and men’s golf sub clubs are now hoping to return to a regular

competition schedule.

The course was badly damaged by consistent, heavy rainfall and despite a program of

drainage installation over recent years the course became saturated.

Thanks to a dedicated ground staff, supported by club volunteer groups golfers hope it will soon return to the standard where it was rated as one of the best 9 hole golf courses in

Australia.
