Tunnels in sand dunes can be deadly : Tomakin tunnel dismantled by Council

Eek!! We came across this sand tunnel built by kids at Tomakin this morning. It’s incredibly dangerous – children have died when they’ve collapsed in other areas (it’s also bad for the dunes). Our crew safely dismantled this today – but if you see any tunnels or holes like this please report them to us as soon as possible on 4474 1000 or after hours 1800 755 760.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
