Cultural tourism in our region; What does it look like at the moment? Our region has so much to offer - what opportunities to enhance and diversify the visitor experience exist in the south east?

Cultural Tourism can be defined as the journey of people to specific destinations that offer cultural attractions, including historic sites and artistic and cultural events, exhibitions, installations and shows, with the aim of acquiring new knowledge and experiences that meet the intellectual needs and individual growth of the traveler.

Above and below: Our communities are taking a greater role in presenting the narrative of the region by way of providing online histories that stimulate visitors and locals alike.
