Tomakin Twist Tops Bowls Report

What a fabulous day for over 50 Twisties and their partners on a Luncheon Cruise from Batemans Bay to Nelligen. It was a perfect day, beautiful sunshine and a gentle breeze blowing.

We boarded the boat at 11.30am ready for a 3 hour cruise up and down the Clyde River. After a welcome from the cruise Captain the first course was served, platters of prawns, oysters, a charcuterie board of cold meats, cheeses and delicious dips, as well as fruit platters. Lunch consisted of fish, crumbed prawns, calamari and lots of salads. After lunch cakes were served to finish off our repast. The view of the river from the top deck particularly was picturesque.

A presentation of the " Red Baron" Award was given to the most improved new bowler. Club Board member Brett Megee presented this well deserved Award to Alma Scott.

Everyone on Board received a Christmas gift from Mrs. Santa aka Jennie Hogan, assisted by committee members Dick Morley and Tony Dobson. I must say a lot of thought had been put into these gifts, all suited to the person who received them !!

Anthony " Robbo" Robinson thanked President Steve and Secretary Jennie Hogan for the fantastic job they did in organising this event as they always do. We all missed Treasurer Tony Birmingham who was resting after recent surgery. Twist Tops will continue each week except for Christmas Day.
