POSTPONED : Toby Whitelaw & Julie Mia Holmes "Shelter in Place" at Gallery Bodalla

GALLERY BODALLA - EXHIBITION POSTPONED announce:

With the rapidly changing coronavirus situation I’ve sadly decided to postpone “Shelter in Place” an exhibition by photographer Toby Whitelaw and printmaker Julie Mia Holmes, in the hope of helping to “flatten the curve” in the rate of infection.  Gallery Bodalla will be closed until further notice. It’s very disappointing for the artists who have created a marvellous show in reference to the devastating bush fires.  There is an idea brewing for an online exhibition and I will let you know when that evolves. Valerie Faber The highly skilled and poignant work of local artists -  photographer Toby Whitelaw & printmaker Julie Mia Holmes - feature in the upcoming exhibition at Gallery Bodalla from Thursday 19 March to Sunday 12 April. Titled “Shelter in Place” the show is based on both artists’ reflections on the recent devastating fires.

All are warmly invited to share in opening drinks with the artists Saturday 21 March at 3pm, with music by guitarist extraordinaire John Hoorweg.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
