As we all know, there will be no Tilba Festival on Easter Saturday, however the organisers wanted to do something a bit different to support the businesses and the musicians who had been booked. So they are running a Virtual Tilba Festival instead with scheduled posts every 10-15 minutes on the Tilba Festival Instagram and Facebook. The posts will basically walk through a day at the Festival. The majority of Bate Street businesses will feature (and some other locals), along with links to their socials and online stores (if they have them). The musicians that had been booked for this year will have material from any online clips or tracks scheduled at the time that they would have played, along with links to their sites where some have merch etc for sale. Also wedged in will be a few video clips and slideshows from last year’s Festival. The schedule will start at 9am and end at 4.30pm. Claire Leonard, one of the event organisers told The Beagle "It would be great if the community could enjoy and share a couple of the posts throughout the day, particularly the first one at 9am to keep the spirit of the Festival alive". "Hopefully most people will enjoy the concept and support the businesses and musicians."
