NSW RFS - Batemans Bay Brigade reports:
Car Fire In Bushland
On Sunday the 17th of October just after 7:30pm we were called to reports of a vehicle fire.
After investigating the area our crew located an abandoned vehicle fully involved in fire on Ironbark Range Road in North Batemans Bay.
Our crew quickly got to work extinguishing the fire and the small amount of bush which was alight.
It is incredibly concerning to see an abandoned vehicle being set alight in our bushland after we have not too long ago seen some of the worst bush fire conditions in our area. Thankfully we were able to extinguish this fire before it was able to take hold in the bush surrounding the vehicle.
