The parallels of the story of the Harbour Bridge and new Clyde River Bridge

This week, as we look back 20 years to the Sydney Olympics we pause to celebrate the story of the building of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, described by synchronized swimmers with the unforgettable commentary of Roy and HG. Watch and enjoy this flashback and consider how intertwined the story of the Harbour Bridge is with our own Clyde River Bridge. As works continue on the new Clyde River bridge we can but wonder who will be cutting the ribbon and whether there will be a Francis de Groot on horseback to cut the tape before the ballyhoo.
