Eurobodalla’s businesses have been facing a tough and uncertain time as a result of the bushfires and highway closures. The opening of the Princes Highway last night is a huge relief, not only for tourism operators relying on visitors, but for local businesses trying to get products in and out of the shire.

We can help. Instead of having lunch at home go out to a cafe and employ chefs and waitstaff, pop into a shop and help cover the wages with a purchase, look at our local businesses and wonder what you might be able to do to help them remain afloat.

So have an extra meal out, call into shops you don't regularly visit and buy something knowing you are helping all of us.

This dish from The Mossy Cafe is more than enough to inspire everyone to get out and support those who support the community by employing us.

And yes, the Mexican burrito w/ brown rice, guacamole, chorizo, beans, corn salsa, sour cream and chipotle aioli was delectable 😲🌶
