Writer's picture: The BeagleThe Beagle

Motorists are advised that from Monday 14 February temporary traffic changes will be in place on the Kings Highway between Wharf and Reid streets.

Traffic changes will be in place to allow work to progress on the eastbound approach to the new Nelligen Bridge. This work includes excavating material, removing guardrail and installing temporary concrete barriers.

Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday, from Monday 14 February until Friday 25 February, weather permitting. Traffic changes will be in place day and night for the duration of the work.

Traffic changes will include a single lane closure, stop/slow traffic conditions and a 40 km/h speed limit on the Kings Highway. Access to and from Wharf and Reid streets will be maintained.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow five minutes additional travel time and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
