ACCIDENTS ON THE CLYDE
With the recent drops of rain, the roads have become slippery resulting in Police attending several accidents along the south coast.
A female driver of a silver Ford Territory lost control of her vehicle while coming down the Clyde, causing the vehicle to roll. The female hit her head on the windscreen and sustained bruising but was OK.
A short time earlier, one the same bend, another female driver lost control of her white Toyota Corolla, veering off the road and going backwards down the cliff coming to rest in scrub. The driver managed to climb back up the cliff in an attempt to wave down passing motorists. Several passed without stopping. The driver was conveyed to hospital where she was treated for a broken collar bone and several broken ribs.
