Member for Bega, Andrew Constance MP posts:

"Attention: Small business owners in the Bega Valley Shire:

Yesterday, The Premier announced the Southern Border Small Business Support Grant – aimed at cushioning the economic impacts of the southern border closure and to support businesses facing the current restrictions.

There are two forms of grant available: $5,000 grant for employing and non-employing small businesses with a revenue decline of 30% or more; and $10,000 grant for employing small businesses with a revenue decline of 75% or more.

The grants can be used to pay for unavoidable expenses such as utilities, to develop marketing and communication materials, or to diversify your offerings to adapt to the new environment.

Applications open next Tuesday, 8 September and will be available for six weeks until Sunday 18 October.
