So long to AMS 1807

The remaining barge, AMS 1807, used for marine construction of the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement, left the Clyde River this weekend.

The community were advised of an additional opening of the Batemans Bay Bridge on the morning of Saturday 14 November to allow the barge to pass through taking advantage of favourable tidal conditions to safely transport the barge.

In this image from Wet and Windy the barge is passing under the existing bridge before it is transported north to Sydney.
