Season comes to end for the Batemans Bay/Broulee rugby team

Batemans Bay 'Boars' Rugby Union post: The season came to end yesterday for the Batemans Bay/Broulee team, and although the team won’t progress through to the finals all those involved should be extremely proud of the effort and results.

The Boars and Broulee Dolphins Rugby Union Club coming together to keep rugby on the coast alive took a lot by surprise due to our fierce rivalry, but the committees, and players in particular have been nothing short of amazing and their pride in the ‘Boarphins’ jersey has really impressed

4 wins for the season with improvement each week, but injuries taking its toll and a tough end to season with away games and travel meant the team didn’t quite reach its potential.

There will be a joint presentation in the coming weeks which we will announce shortly, then planning will begin for 2024. We are unsure what that will look like but if you are keen to be involved please reach out or keep an eye on upcoming meetings etc

The players are all definitely winners in our eyes
