The cruise ship Seabourn Encore returns to Batemans Bay for the second time next Tuesday 4 February.
More than 500 passengers, mostly from America and the UK, will arrive at the town jetty aboard tenders from 8.30am.
Tourism Manager Tim Booth says the visitor information team will greet the passengers as they disembark and talk to them about how they can spend their day in the Bay.
“Some have already pre-booked tours with Region X kayaking, South Coast seaplanes, Clyde River Cruises, and Narooma e-bikes,” he said.
“This is a great boost for Batemans Bay and the whole region at a difficult time. We look forward to welcoming the passengers and their support of our businesses will certainly be appreciated.”
Seabourn Encore is on a 16-day one-way cruise. It departed Auckland on Monday 20 January and arrives in Sydney on Wednesday 5 February.
Batemans Bay is the last port of call on the itinerary, and will depart at 5pm on Tuesday afternoon.
