Motorists are advised of additional lane closures on the Snowy Mountains Highway at Brown Mountain over the coming weekends for ongoing slope stabilisation work.
The highway will operate with single lane closures between Wattle Road and Buckleys Road on Saturday 22 and 29 May and Saturday 5 June between 7am and 7pm with delays of 15 minutes expected.
The highway will continue to be closed between 7pm to 7am from Sunday to Thursday with single lane closures in place from 7am to 7pm weekdays until Friday 11 June, weather permitting.
Detours are in place for both light and heavy vehicles via the Princes Highway, Imlay Road and the Monaro Highway and are expected to add up to 1.5 hours to journeys.
No Over Size Over Mass vehicle travel through Brown Mountain will be permitted unless prior arrangements have been made with the project team on 0429 504 652.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
