Sandy Place Playground community consultation Dec 18th

CONSULTATION ON SANDY PLACE PLAYGROUND DESIGN TOMORROW - WEDNESDAY 18 DECEMBER.

Council has today advised us that they will be at Sandy Place tomorrow (Wednesday 18 December) from 4 to 5.30 to chat about the proposed playground design. All welcome to attend. You'll recall this consultation was originally planned for a couple of weeks ago but was cancelled due to the fires.

Emma Gormy from Council has asked us to emphasise she is looking at final designs. These were developed based on all the previous consultation and input via the community survey etc to try and meet as many needs as possible within the available budget.

We urge as many people as possible to attend to convey your views on the final designs and hear what is planned.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
