Sand Dune fire at Broulee

Crews from Broulee, Mogo and Moruya attended a fire in the sand dunes at Broulee on Sunday. Eurobodalla Rural Fire Service advised that the fire was adjacent to the Sand Mine track near the end of McNee Street saying there was no threat to property, but residents and visitors are likely to smoke and fire for a while as the fire is difficult to access.

Attending the fire Moruya Rural Fire Brigade reported:

"Today at approx 1:20pm, Moruya 1 and 7 were paged to assist with a Bushfire in Broulee.

Crews assisted other crews from Broulee, Batemans bay and Mogo to bring a fire burning in the sand dunes under control."
