About 6:50am on Friday 11th October 2019 the female driver of a Holden Commodore Wagon, was lucky to walk away with minor injuries after she lost control of her car on a right hand bend along George Bass Drive, Rosedale.
The driver tried to correct the car, which veered off the road and into a creek.
The driver was able to free herself from the car while it was partially submerged and climb up the embankment for help.
Emergency crews attended and the driver was conveyed to Moruya hospital with lower back pain but later released.
Just after 7am Fire and Rescue NSW Station 217 Batemans Bay crews were called to a Hazmat incident George Bass Drive, Rosedale.
Hazmat crew surrounded the vehicle with absorbent booms to contain any fuel and oil.
