WET WEATHER BULLETIN - Monday 2.00pm FLOOD WARNING
The flood watch for the Bega River has now been upgraded to a flood warning, as heavy rain continues to fall across the catchment area. At this stage it is expected to peak at around 6.5 metres in the early hours of tomorrow (Tuesday).
CLOSURES
• East Street, Bega - Causeway closed
• Grosses Creek bridge, Buckajo - Detour via Grosses Creek Road & Daisy Hill Road
• Tarlingtons Lane, Mogila - Causeway closed
• Tathra-Bermagui Road, Wapengo - Causeway closed
• Jaunceys Lane, Angledale - Causeway closed
• Nullica Short Cut Road, Eden - Causeway closed
• Back Creek Road, Nethercote - Causeway closed
• Wallaga Lake Road near Wallaga Lake Bridge - Road closed
Council has multiple crews checking locations across the Shire and will update this post as information comes to hand.
Bermagui Library is closed due to an electricity blackout. Essential Energy is now onsite, working a solution.
