Ride the Climate Emergency Rally charter bus to Canberra on Feb 4th

The Beagle Editor

I wish to inform everyone of the bus organised to transport community members from the south coast to the Climate Emergency Rally in Canberra on the 4th of February Noon to 1:30 pm.

We have all been affected by the bushfire disaster, watched the destruction of our homes, and lost friends and loved ones. Wildlife and forests are devastated and choking smoke has filled our lungs. Many of us are overwhelmed, bewildered, exhausted and angry with no end in sight. It is time to take action for a better future. Please join us, even if this is the first time you have ever attended a rally. Contribute your presence and voice to help make a difference to create a better future for our region and the planet.

You are inviting along with any of you family and friends, students, and groups to reserve your seats on the bus to the rally in Canberra on 4th Feb.

Bus picks up at Moruya 9am then Batemans Bay, and drops us at Parliament House. We will return into Moruya by 5.30pm This is currently the most sustainable transport we could think of with no parking problems!

This is the first day Parliament sits for 2020. Join many others coming from all across Australia. People will be leaving their workplaces and schools at this pivotal time, to demand that our political leaders take action on the threats posed by climate change and the chaos it is creating. A safe future is possible and we are ready to take action.

Bookings to reserve your seat on the bus go to Eventbrite under Climate Emergency Rally Transport. It will cost $25 perched return and concessions are available. All departure and pick up times and locations, along with what you will need to bring can be seen prior to booking your seats on

Supported and subsidised by 350Eurobodalla and SHASA. Any problems call 0415910419.

Sincerely

A concerned Far South Coast resident
