Ken Ludwig’s A Comedy of Tenors is a playful romp through misunderstandings, mistaken identities and operatic mayhem as Concert Producer Henry Saunders struggles to stage the biggest operatic concert of his lifetime in Paris in 1936. Four tenors, a wife, a lover, a daughter with a secret, an over enthusiastic bellhop, 30,000 people and a temperamental conductor - what could possibly go wrong? The play is a farce in the grand pants-down style and will give our audiences a delightfully entertaining glimpse into the grand world of opera and the things that may, or may not, happen behind the scenes. Join Red Door Theatre Company for a sparkling afternoon or evenings entertainment in our latest production - A Comedy of Tenors. This is Moruya Red Door Theatre Company’s fifth production, we have performed to over 2000 people, travelling across the shire. We are a company who welcomes new members and offers all members the opportunity to be on or back stage. "We are very fortunate to have the multi talented Linda Heald, once again directing for the Red Door as we stage this wonderfully hilarious farce", said theatre president and producer of the show, Anthony Mayne.
