Tuross Head men golfers competed under trying conditions on Saturday following the recent heavy rain. However golf carts were able to be used on the course with a request from the ground management supervisor Tim Watson that players exercise due care in negotiating the fairways.

Ray Bollard was able to master the heavy conditions and emerged the winner of the stableford event with 36 points. Michael Allen filled second placing with a close 35 points.

Kevin Dukes, who also scored 35 points was third on a countback.

Graeme Sindel and Robert McDonell were the remaining award winners both handing in cards of 34 points.
