Quota Narooma news

Quota Narooma Supporting Marine Rescue Narooma:

Marine Rescue Narooma Unit Commander Paul Houseman and Deputy Commander John Lundy were extremely pleased to receive the proceeds from the Quota International of Narooma Trivia Night in November.

Quota members Jenny Helmore (trivia organiser) and Molly Worrall visited the local base on Tuesday to hand over the proceeds of the night. Over $1000 was raised, with Quota rounding up the total donation to $1500. The money will pay for a new generator that is vital to Marine Rescue operations when power outages are experienced at Narooma.

Marine Rescue Narooma is very grateful for the support of local organisations, especially our local Quota ladies who put a lot of effort into running these nights. The trivia nights bring community members together not only to support our volunteer organisations, but a chance to enjoy a social night with a difference.

Quota Trivia Nights are run four times a year, with Narooma Community Choir, and Bodalla Netball already booked in for the first couple of trivia nights in 2020. If you wish to enquire about booking a trivia night, or joining Quota International of Narooma, please email quotanarooma@gmail.com or call 0407 767 385.

A wonderful commitment, thanks ladies!
