Latest Update fro Live Traffic as at 5pm 26/12/2019 (South Coast extract)

The Princes Highway remains closed in both directions between Jerrawangala and Conjola on the South Coast.

The highway is expected to remain closed until at least tomorrow morning so avoid the area.

If you're already on the highway, you'll be turned around at Jerrawangala and Conjola. If you need to travel, you can use the Hume Highway, Monaro Highway and Snowy Mountains Highway via Cooma instead but should allow plenty of extra travel time.

Many other roads remain closed around the state including:

On the South Coast:

• Braidwood to Nelligen: the Kings Highway is closed

• Braidwood to Moruya: Araluen Road is closed

• Nowra Hill to Charleyong: Nerriga Road/Braidwood Road is closed

• Jerrawangala to Tomerong: Turpentine Road is closed

South West of Sydney:

If you're driving during the holidays, remember that conditions can change quickly in bushfire-affected areas so follow directions of emergency services and traffic crews. Stay up to date at https://www.livetraffic.com/
