NSW Premier Chris Minns visited the site of the new $260 million Eurobodalla Regional Hospital last week.
The Premier was joined by members of the local Aboriginal community and other dignitaries including Member for Bega, Dr Michael Holland, to learn about the project and archaeological work underway.
The new hospital is a pilot project for the NSW Government Architect’s Connecting with Country Framework, incorporating ongoing contribution by the local Aboriginal community to the design of the hospital which reflects traditional practices including birthing on country.
The first stage of construction draws closer and the hospital is due for completion in 2025.
