Peter Hogan scores a hole in one at Tuross

Tuross Head Country Club men’s stableford competition held on Saturday April 10 saw well known local golfer Peter Hogan, score a hole in one on the 15th hole. Congratulations Peter from all Tuross players.

John Eglitis emerged as the winner of the stableford event with a score of 42 stableford points. Paul Rowe was a close second with 40 points, ahead of Ian McManus with 38, Steve Pritchell 36, and Shane Gschwend who finished with 36 stableford points.

Nearest the pins were won by Brad Doolan on the 4th and 6th holes in division A, division B golfer Paul Rowe was best on the 4th. Herb Muriwai won the award on the 4th hole in C grade.

Thursday’s medley stableford event was won by Jim Wade with 38 points beating Neil Mather on a countback. Darrell Kildey filled third spot with 35 points followed by Allen Gannon and Ray Bollard who both handed in cards of 34 points. Nearest the pins were won by Darrell Kildey on the 4th hole, Darren Rogers won the 6th and Rex Wood won the 7th.
