Pedestrian access changes for temporary side track construction at Clyde Street west BBay

Pedestrian access changes for temporary side track construction at Clyde Street west Batemans Bay from 11 May 2020 Transport for NSW will establish a temporary side track to the north of Clyde Street west near the Princes Highway in Batemans Bay. What are we doing? To enable installation of bridge segments, realignment of Clyde Street west is required. A short side track will be established to the north of Clyde Street west near the intersection of the Princes Highway as part of the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project.

We will update the community regarding changed traffic conditions prior to the side track opening to traffic in mid-2020, weather permitting. What you need to know Work on the side track will take place on the southern foreshore between the Clyde Street west boat ramp, Clyde Street west and the Princes Highway. This activity will include construction of a new temporary pedestrian detour, and earthworks and pavement for the side track. For the safety of cyclists, pedestrians and workers, a temporary pedestrian detour will be in place for pedestrians accessing Clyde Street west from 11 May 2020, weather permitting. Please refer to the map for changed pedestrian conditions during side track construction and follow signage on site. We thank the community for your patience while this important work is completed.
