Our Town Our Say meeting Tomakin Sat 1st Feb

Our Towns Our Say

Sharing OUR stories and ideas for OUR Future

OTOS is hosting a public meeting on Saturday 1 February, 2.00pm at the Tomakin Sports and Social Club. This meeting will provide an opportunity to come together to share our personal stories and to collect ideas to present to the Eurobodalla Council prior to its February meeting.

“We have all lived this devastating experience and deserve the respect of having our views heard as part of the decision-making process.”

"Our Council can only represent the views of the community if it has heard those views. In the glaring absence of a Council led ‘post fires’ public meeting OTOS is again filling the void.

Experienced facilitators will structure the public meeting so that all participants have an opportunity to present and prioritise their ideas. These will then be collated and presented to Council and other relevant Government bodies.

“Working together to develop a response to future events will be an important part of our healing as a community.”

Those contributors KNOWN to us and verified may continue to use their First Name or Nom de plume for ease. The primary need for all of this is due to traceability should a legal action arise.
