NSW SES Moruya Unit welcome their newest member MOU 57

On Friday 26 February Moruya SES Unit took delivery of a new Generation 2 General Purpose Vehicle, Callsign MOU 57. Based on the Isuzu D-Max Crew Cab 4 x 4 chassis, it will greatly enhance the units capabilities. It’s improved load carrying and towing capacity along with the improved suspension make it ideal for many tasks. The main uses for this vehicle will include Logistics and Administration tasking. It will also be available to undertake vehicle recovery in isolated areas as well as providing support during storm events and assisting during GLR/RCR incidents. While MOU 57 will carry minimal equipment for immediate VR or Water Rescue, there will be the the ability in the unit to quickly reload it for a specific or prolonged tasking.

Moruya SES Unit now eagerly await the receipt of the replacement of our MOU 34.
