Seven new COVID-19 cases in Southern NSW


Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has been notified of seven new COVID-19

cases in the 24 hours to 8.00pm last night.

Of the seven new cases:

• Two new cases are in the Queanbeyan Palerang region, one is linked to a known

case and one is under investigation. One is in Googong and one in Karabar.

• Three new cases are in Goulburn Mulwaree region, two are linked to known cases,

and one is under investigation. All three are in Goulburn.

• One new case in Bega Valley region. The case is in Tathra and under investigation.

• One new case in Snowy Monaro region. The case is in Cooma and is linked to a

known case.

This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 400 since the start of the current outbreak in

June.

SNSWLHD has also been notified of a new venue of concern associated with a COVID-19

case.

Anyone who visited this venue at the times listed is a casual contact and must immediately

get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Staff will be contacted separately

by SNSWLHD’s Public Health Unit regarding their testing and isolation requirements.
