Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has been notified of three new COVID-19
cases in the 24 hours to 8.00pm last night.
This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 94 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
Of the three new cases all are in Goulburn and are linked to known cases.
SNSWLHD is urging the Crookwell and Jindabyne communities to get tested with even the
mildest of COVID-19 symptoms following the detection of fragments of the virus in the local
sewage systems in the last 48 hours.
There are no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Crookwell and Jindabyne. SNSWLHD is
concerned that the presence of these fragments could signal undetected cases in the
community.
SNSWLHD has been notified of new venues of concern associated with COVID-19 cases.
Anyone who visited one of these venues at the times listed is a casual contact and must
immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Staff will be
contacted separately by SNSWLHD’s Public Health Unit regarding their testing and isolation
requirements.
