Narooma Social Bowls 28th March 2023

Last Tuesday's social bowls group had three games of triples plus a game of pairs, played in sunny, somewhat humid conditions.

The winning team was decided by 'secret ends'. At the end of play a series of numbers are drawn to identify the ends, then each team adds their score to find the highest score for those ends.

Winning, with a total of 14 points were Heather McGourty, Sue Wales and Vicki Herman (skip), following their win against Sue Waldock, Sue Bender and Dawn Kenny (skip). Second prize awarded to Jan Rapkins/Jim Constan, Denise Holman and ***** (skip) for their 'secret ends' score of nine points, although their game against Jan Rapkins, Pam Grant and Darrell Goodridge was a 20 all draw.

****** also won the Rapleys Meat raffle and Sue Wales was the lucky 50Club winner.
