There were three games of triples and two games of pairs played on Tuesday in wonderful Autumn conditions.
The winning team, decided by Lowest Winning Margin, was Sue Waldock, Gail Palmer and Tony Palmer (skip) who led 16 to one after 10 ends and just repelled a strong comeback from Kevin Elias, Sue Bender and Sandra Breust (skip) to pick up one shot on the last end for an 18 to 17 win. Second place went to Heather McGourty, Denise Holman and Vicki Herman (skip) who led 10 to eight after 11 ends before drawing clear for a 19 to 14 win against Warren Bender, Cindy Newell and visitor, Peter Sullivan (skip).
Kevin Callaway won the Rappley’s Meat raffle and Barbara McNamara picked up second prize. Thank you to Rapley and Sons for their continued support
