On Wednesday we had a good turnout of bowlers with winners decided by Highest Winning Margin and this week the winners were Mark Adams, Tony Gors and Gavin Bransgrove (skip) who bolted out to a lead of 15 to five after 11 ends continued in this top form for a 28 to 11 win against Rex Dunn, Neville Cork and John Downie (skip). Second place went to Sue Waldock, Peter Hawker/Terry Lewis and Rod Coulson (skip) who were on fire early where they led 15 to six after 11 ends before they had a close second half on their way to a 21 to 15 win against Ken Burrows, Jeff McCusker and Les Waldock (skip). The first resting toucher went to Darrell Goodridge who, as usual, was all over the jack and he rested on the jack at 12.52. Well done Darrell. Thank you to Rapley and Son, Narooma Plaza, for their continued support.
On Sunday we had four rinks of triples and the winners, decided by Lowest Winning Score were Graeme Howden, Jan Rapkins and Bruce Rapkins (skip) who were down six to 10 after 11 ends before charging home for a 16 to 14 win against Sue Waldock, Sue Bender and Roger Cenani (skip).. Second place went to Garry South, Enid Brooker and Pat Barklem (skip) who had a great, close, game where they led 10 to eight after 10 ends and kept up the top bowls for a 17 to 13 win against Clare Cork, Pieter Vos and Dawn Kenny (skip).
