Over the past number of weeks, the Narooma & District Lions Club have been running an on-line wine drive as a fund raising enterprise towards the purchase of a new BBQ Trailer. Given the Bush Fires early in 2020 and then COVID restrictions putting paid to face-to-face fundraising for many months, a safe and productive form of maintaining let alone increasing Club funds needed to be found.
It was literally mulling over this problem with a glass of wine that the light bulb moment hit. Yours truly did some quick research and the idea became a reality.
Since then, our friends near and far have supported us, with Bankstown Sport being counted as one of them. The chance of having a very merry Christmas while supporting your local Lions Club is now drawing to a close on Monday 16th November.
We urge you not to miss out on this opportunity of helping us end the year with some jingle in our coffers. To do so please follow the prompts. https://prospectwines.com.au/product/narooma-and-district-lions-club/

Fine weather having graced the Dalmeny Community Market last Sunday 8th saw a great increase in shoppers and stallholders. It was good to have some toe-tapping music provided by the Dalmeny Wahinis Ukulele players. There was even a hint of Christmas song in their repertoire.

This brings us to the next Market! It will be the BIG MARKET on Sunday 13th December so please get your table booked early to avoid disappointment by contacting Tony on facebook : Dalmeny Community Market.
We are in the process of having our BBQ Trailer in attendance as we have observed many masters having to slow down and even stop at the hallowed turf where our canine following have been mourning the loss. Cheer up doggies, the wait will be over soon.
To assist these events to keep continuing, perhaps you may like to join we Lions and turn a sausage or two while meeting some wonderful and colourful people along the way. See our facebook page for details.
